after barely two weeks, i was able to finish the four books of TWILIGHT saga. the movie got me motivated to read the whole collection. and i guess it's not bad for someone who's not into reading that much to finish them fast... the story is so addicting. though i find some parts a bit boring, i was inspired by the edward-bella love story to keep on reading. there are a lot of 'winner' and quotable quotes from both of them especially from edward cullen. i'm not so much into the jacob-bella story but i think it was a nice twist. it was actually good.
and one fact still holds true... i'm very much of a sucker for happy ending. i'm so glad that the story ended with me smiling and wishing for more edward-bella story.

i'm so thrilled and excited to watch all the movie versions (NEW MOON will be out on NOVEMBER!). i can't help but think who's gonna play who (like seth, leah, the wolves pack... the whole vampire covens and most of all renesmee). so can't wait =)

i've not much planned yet on what i intend to do next year. but as lakwatsera as i am, i've listed some of the places i've been eyeing to visit. here are some:
Q1: Subic, Boracay, Mt. Pinatubo
Q2: Caramoan/CWC
Q3: Singapore
Q4: Ilocos, Palawan
driving lessons, photography lessons and renewing my US visa top my to-do lists. hopefully i'll be able to give time and my best effort to have these crossed out by the end of the year.
career shift is not an option as i'm still waiting and looking forward to a greater responsibility for me at work and not to mention i'll be on my fifth year this july.
keeping my sanity, staying tough and keeping myself healthy are three of my main agendas next year.
self control, patience and discipline are the three things i need to practice more.
all in all... i'm just hoping for the best this 2009 --- more blessings to embrace, more memories to cherish and more friends to keep.
and like what i've said on my 27th year, i may not have everything in life but i've been blessed to have everything that i needed.

well, well, well...here i go again! i've been posting my own year end reviews at the end of each year eversince i've started blogging. i'll be posting this one earlier than usual as i may not be able to go online few minutes after the new year (i'll be putting myself on exile AGAIN by that time, just like what i did last christmas -- LOL!)
looking back... the start of 2008 hasn't been that good. it was a struggle but was able to survived each day. such a cliche to say that my life has been pretty much on a rollercoaster this year. i've seen myself fall apart and eventually learned to pick up the pieces. coping up was my main focus and as of today...i'm still trying my best to stay tough... to make things right... and not to fall apart again.
from my last year's set of plans, none of them i've accomplished (LOL!)... it's my bad coz i've not given much time and effort to make each of them happen. well, i have to admit that i was just too busy with 'extra-curricular' activities (read: lakwatsa).
there's not much happening this year but somehow i've found ways to just let go... have fun... and forget whatever the past year has brought me to.
anyways, since i'm so lazy to describe everything that had happened. i've made this photo collage instead to summarize my 2008:

i've seen the movie on the big screen few days back but i've never read the book yet. and guess what... i'm one of the million people who've been hooked and i would like to read the book (yeah! not-so-me but edward cullen lured me to read it! hahaha!). i even asked my friend to buy me a bookset in the US since it's out-of-stock here but luckily, my brother has the 4 books so i'll catch up on my reading next year.
contrary to some reviews... i so love the movie coz i have no point of comparison yet. i've been watching a downloaded movie at work for a number of times already... trying to memorize some of the lines... LOL!
plus the movie soundtrack is great (below is the track listing)! i so love both Paramore's songs and that of Linkin Park.
